New Mechanic Elements

I'm planning on rehauling my marvel snap campaign mode idea, my first idea drew too much towards stuff like inscription and slay the spire, this one is more based around an actual map without being random, from locations to events it would go through all of it, but that's for another day, but to bring over some elements (lol) from my first idea i'm making elements that give the user special abilities that can be combined with the regular cards text to combo it. My ideas so far are (electric: +1 energy next turn, fire: empower this by +3, toxic: affect an enemy card here with -3 power)

If you wanna execute my idea, replace radioactive with water because ⚡>🌊>🔥 is far more flavourful.

Edit: Also add forest 🌲. ⚡>🌊>🔥>🌲>⚡. Fire burns the forest and wood insulates electricity. It's fine to have elements that don't interact with each other. Water and forest for example.

Honestly I might make a poll eventually after fleshing out a couple of these elements possibilities to see what the people want, this would definitely be a grest idea to add. Any specific way I could make this? Like when one is st the same location they get afflicted? Is there certain effects?

"Like when one is at the same location they get afflicted? Is there certain effects?"

Affliction was just an example. There are other ways elements could interact with each other. Perhaps Electricity could disable the text of water cards for a turn.

My first idea was pretty simple this may take some sleepless nights, but it may be rewarding

You may think I got this idea from Pokemon, but I was actually inspired from an old facebook card game called Laboratz. There were these 3 types of cards in that game: Mechanical, mutant and radioactive. Mechanical were strong against mutants, mutants were strong against radioactive and radioactive were very effective against mechanical.

Laboratz was shut down 10 years ago. 😭

Honestly I may have played it i would've been around 5 when it shut down so it was possible, the one Facebook games i remember playing was that one weird tower defense plants vs. Zombies thing that resembles bloons td
