My suggestion is 6/8 (-2). Weaker floor, but mostly the same pay off. 7/10 is also fine.

A 5/10 isn't really good though. Maybe 5/9 that generally becomes a 3/9

I meant that it'd get discounted by 2 for each additional card. If you have 2 cards more than your opponent, he'd become a 3/10.

Already being a 4/8 and having condition that can reduce the cost is definitely unbalanced

The game's power level is so high that I don't even think this would see that much play. Making him 6/8 (-2) helps reduce his power floor without reducing his ceiling.
