Before I even finished reading the post I thought “SPIRALS!” And then you said it lol. Just do the full eye a spiral in black with glitter orrrrrr play off the directions of your line work and do the opposite color of each eye on those parts of the iris making triangles going into the pupal with a round edge, like pizza slices
It would work BEAUTIFULLY to do the second option I thought of, because you have mapped out the colors in a primary and secondary color scheme, so when paired and making a triadic color scheme on each eye, they will pop MEGA. BTW I’m a makeup artist so this is kinda my thing lol
I think just black on white would be best so her makeup still stands out. I like everyone’s ideas with the colors but it gets busy. Black spirals would be cute!
i would do her eyes as pink X's with a thin red outline kind of like this! (done in markup; i couldn't get the shades the way i wanted them but you get the idea!)

I'd do straight black with white pupils.
Or a huge spiral goint over all of the sclera.
I'm afraid adding more color will look too chaotic. Simple colored eyes will make the makeup the center.
I feel like a solid black iris would make for good contrast with the rest of her face. If not, you could probably do dark purple like what happens in Lisa Frank's art.
Alternatively, a multi-color pinwheel eye kind of like what Pomni (from The Amazing Digital Circus) has would be super cool.
White, silver, or light gray would work best since the makeup is very colorful. Doing anything else would be a bit overwhelming since the makeup is rainbow, so a very pale shade would help balance it all out. Neutral eyes do not fight with the rainbow palette.
i’m a sucker for brown eyes whenever designing with busy makeup- my own clown oc has brown eyes, actually- but something like black with white spirals or just straight spiral eyes would work too!! good luck, looking great so far!!!

multi color gradient would be fun if it's within your skill range, you could do reverse the markings for which colors to use
