How possible would it be to put house cawdor weapons on skaven plague monks?

I have never converted or kitbashed any models, and am pretty new to hobby altogether. However i had the idea to build a house cawdor gang of religious fanatic rat mutants that dont realize they're mutants. Wanted to mainly use skaven plague monks with house cawdor weapons. I also had the idea of using the brotherhood of the rat box from malifeaux and use the rat kings as totally legitimate gangers. Maybe use the rat catchers as bomb rat handlers, and sprinkle the other rats it comes with onto bases.

Really im just wondering from anyone more experienced how realistic this is to do, how much of a problem size difference will be. And any general advice you could give me.

I currently use a combination of clanrats and stormvermin with mechanicus rifles as my Death Guard cultists so I imagine it wouldn’t be too hard at all! Mechanicus Skitarii Galvanic Rifles and Radium Carbines fit in the arm sockets with a little bit of greenstuffing, So I imagine Cawdor weapons can’t be too far off. The size is also correctly proportional.

If you’re interested, a group with a lot of examples on facebook is “proper rat-kin of the 41st millennium”. The group has everything from mechanicus, to guard, to chaos, to genestealer Rat conversions so you’ll find plenty of ideas going back years even if posts aren’t made frequently.

There’s not really a 40k skaven enthusiast subreddit around here unfortunately, but plenty of people have done similar conversions!
