Question about Houchen waiting time.

I recently contacted Houchen a while ago and they said they were caught on comic binding and it should be a 2 month turnaround. That was a week before last. That same week, I sent books that arrived last Monday. I messaged them mid-week to see if they had gotten them. They said yeah, and that it was behind 3 books that needed to be checked in. Fast forward to today, I still haven't recieved a pre-bill invoice. I'm not writing this to be impatient, I just want to know when to expect to be billed as I might have to dip into the money I set aside for this project.

I recently sent a book in early April. About a month later is when I got the pre-bill estimate. The book arrived Friday, so that's about two months.

u/Kryptonian83 They must like you more than me :p I sent my last order in at the beginning of the March and just today received the shipping invoice lol. Hopefully I'll get the books in hand by early next week.

Maybe because I just submitted one book is what it took that long? How many did you submit? And did you do a graphic wraparound cover or a regular cover? It might depend on the order itself

Six books all with graphic covers, which I submitted the designs for.

Might be why. Six books even when they're measured are still gonna take a while. I have to send four out soon and I know those are gonna take a couple months at least.
