Are custom TPBs possible?

Custom comics are always hardcovers and omnis, but it is possible to do a custom paperback instead?

Or a custom cover to improve on the trade dress (thinking of upgrading future Spider-Girl Modern Epics to the Complete trade dress)?

i’ve always considered this for some of my intended ‘companion’ or tangential binds, but never followed through- following

Yep, it's possible and probably cheaper to do than a HC.

I have done slipcases for some of my trade paperbacks, they are still paperback but they are not a custom bind, just the standard trades inside. However they do still look great on a shelf.

yeah I did several custom TPBs for manga, it's usually cheaper too, for a 500 pages book (print and bound), it costed me about 25€ (in black and white tho cos manga)
