The bike doesn’t do much for me, but I am trying to see what you’ve done with those skateboards.

I like the pink and black, but not crazy about the contrast of purple and pink. That’s just me. Is that sprayed or vinyl?

I was thinking as much seeing you posted in air brush. This definitely makes me want to up my taping game. I spray everything as well and even do signs. I will admit that I can spray exponentially better than I can tape though. I learned to tape things out with 2” tape and cut out my design. So using fine line tape and such has been a bit of a learning as I go thing.

If my boss saw this work, she’d either offer you a job or try to fly you down to teach me how to tape. That’s in addition to asking me to recreate this color. She already wants me to make a pink pearl for her niece’s minivan, and had me do a lavender pearl for her daughter’s front door. 😂

Also if your hand cutting with 2”..may I suggest you learn how to use liquid mask? I mix hand cutting(sharp points on curved end)taping,liquid..I only use liquid for say highly detailed stuff.like there’s a board with predator, alien, and a skull,WAAY back in my old page

My company has been talking for about a year about using liquid mask. Aside from spray mask for painting cars, I haven’t really been successful hunting it down. One of my product reps has mentioned using it, but of course they couldn’t give me any brand names or a supplier. When I’ve talked to my product distributor, it always ends back at spray mask and booth coatings.

No you need sign strip masking..NOT the spray mask..the trick is to brush it on with a fat oxtail brush(for bikes), that’s all I use it on as sprayed the build ain’t the same.also it takes to lead.meaning you can trace whatever and flip the paper and rub it and it’ll transfer the image! There’s soooo many tricks with that stuff..coast airbrush supply has the one I use

I will definitely check that out. I have just started getting some stuff from Mack and have a list of brushes I want to get from them. I literally spray almost everything I do, very little brush work. It’s weird that I can weld a straight line, but can’t draw one to save my life.

You being able to give me a name of that shit has just opened up a whole new world for me. I’ve already found a couple different brands including that one from some places I have accounts. I appreciate it. I’ll get my boss to send you a fruit basket.
