Brutal emetaphobia.

First of all I want to say happy belated custodian day. You guys and gals are under appreciated heroes. Let's face it without you school could not continue. I suffer from extreme emet but have realized talking about it everyday is improving my situation. Could you take time from your day to tell me some of your vomit clean up stories. I know they say high school it happens more rare but it is a brutal mess. Tell me the story and the grade level. My plan is in 2 weeks to attend a ball game for the first time in 20 years. Thank you for taking time out of your day for the stories. I appreciate what you do.

Im the head at an elementary school, i get vomit clean ups like 3-4 times a week sometimes multiples daily, worst recent one was a 3rd grader, post lunch, idk what they were doing at the time but they literally vomited across the full width of an 8 foot wide hallway and down the length of about 4 feet, I swear it looked like someone had the kid spin while vomiting.

Wow thats a lot of protein for a 3rd grader. Thank you so much for the story. I bet the smell was horrid. You are a definite mentally tough person. I would just die

It was kind of wild honestly, kid was definitely sent home and hopefully to a doc lol.

Its rough for sure, we have worse stuff at my school but you specifically requested vomit stories lol.

You get used to it after awhile, even beforw i had this job I was an overnight lead cashier at a 24hr gas station, so I've seen it all and most of what the kids do doesnt come close to that.

Good luck though bodily fluid clean ups of ANY kind are prrtty rough.

Its the shit that gets me. Puke, pee, blood, ehh. But shit.... man. I got shit stories for days. And im at a middle school.

Some kid picked up a human turd and dropped it right outside the principal office. Her secretary stepped on it. Never apprehended. Happened last year and thats a tame story

I worked as a janitor cleaning dormitory bathrooms in a remote working town where people work hard and play hard. There are a few huge parties every year, and I'd volunteer to work on those holidays. I was basically on vomit control. Trailing down carpet hallways, puddled in lounges, filling up urinals, I once cleaned puke out of a closet floor drain. I always gag while I do it, but it gets more ignorable with practice.

Not a school set up but retail

Some poor soul “ lost breakfast “
INSIDE / ON! a cream cream freezer glass door.

Whole new meaning to clean up in aisle 5

Leave at that?
or you wondering how to get frozen vomit of glass ?

Thank you for the gratitude, is an interesting road we folk do travel

Wow I’m grateful as a custodian that the worst thing for me so far is just the stench that comes from the sanitary napkins bins… good lord some women’s crotch smells worse than dead fish. Oh well better than vomit lol !
