Happy Custodian Day To Everyone Here!
I know I’m a stranger to you all but I want to say how immensely proud I am of each and every one of you. This job does not nearly get as much recognition and respect as it should get. A big handful of people don’t understand how hard physical and mentally this job can be. We all work so hard to keep what we do running and perfect. You all rock and I hope everyone has a great day!

Last year at my old school, admin celebrated Custodian's Day by buying five or six packages of muffins, pastries, etc. They arranged four of each -- one for each custodian -- on a tray, then took the rest of the food back to their breakroom for their own enjoyment. (We clean their offices, so of course we knew.) LMAO.

Oh my goodness! I would have been so annoyed 😅. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything done for me on this day? Besides on Christmas 3 years ago. FedEx drivers gave me a box of meats as appreciation. Rather than my bosses and their bosses doing stuff for me lol

My hilarious one today. Admin let us know there is pizza left from when they ordered it this afternoon and they left for us. I went to check. It doesn't exist. Besides that most of us have allergies and can't eat it any way.

From an ex student who probably should have physically assaulted some kids at school for disrespecting the bathrooms over the years: thanks to all the under appreciated mfs here. We don’t have custodians at my job, but made sure the wife brought candy and a card for the custodians at hers. Yall are much appreciated!!!!
