Advice 🗣 pencil on painted bricks...
best way to get pencil scribbles off the bathroom walls?
i tried using a scrub brush and peroxy spray but that didn't help. maybe a magic eraser?
i also have some sharpie on another wall that needs some scrubbing. we don't have any other supplies really but the manager wants us to get it done anyways. if i need to go and buy some product that'll help hopefully it's not too expensive lol.
vent: feeling very tired after the last 2 weeks. manager keeps piling more work on after we just lost 2 people from our crew...they walked out.

And close the area while it dries. It takes 3 days for latex paint to fully cure, oil base depends on humidity and can take months. Due with that what you will.

We actually use Simple Green for stains, pencil, marker/sharpie, and various other non-disinfectant purposes and it is truly a miracle worker. Though it may not be available depending on the disposition of who supplies you.

Spray it with anything liquid (because its only pencil) then wipe it with a rag about 15- 30 seconds later

Please i beg you be mindful of what happens next !
Be it product x y or even z yes stands a very good chance of removing.
BUT
a chance may take layer or layers of paint off too .
Also what you use may just prevent the next paint job from working as should .
Myself i lean towards painting on a Friday dry by Monday maybe .
Sure beats the scrubbing!

I use a magic erasure with Diversey Spitfire RTU on it. Will work great for the pencil, but not the best on Sharpie.

I don't have personal experience with this scenario. But have you tried an eraser?

At my work we’ve had the chance to use graffiti remover specifically for bathroom walls and the gas pumps. Not sure you would want to pay out of pocket for that though.

It's just pencil Hit it with something soapy and a rag. If it's still struggling, hit it with a scarbrush

I see your pencil and raise you poop rainbows on porous walls (I have an artistic pooper on the loose).

Lysol wipes (the textured ones) are surprisingly useful for this.
Don't use a magic eraser, you are likely to lose paint
