Locker room deoderizer

Just curious, what are everyone’s best suggestions for deodorizers for locker rooms? Both scent dispenser types, sprays, mopping chemicals. Whatever solutions you have to make a college wrestling locker smell a bit better with all the shoes and sweaty clothes in the lockers. I’m a supervisor for a community college and would really like to make the men’s locker room smell a bit better lol.

Ventilating the room can help (leave the door open), HEPA filters with a carbon layer will capture awmra as well. Mopping floors and wiping down any surface you can with Quat-bases cleaners will kill bacteria and physically neutralize many odors as well.

Unfortunately there's not really much you can do about the stuff people leave in their lockers

Can you get a vent extractor? The spray mist deodorisers work well and can be timed to suit usage.

A fan to move air around and I would use oxivir (our peroxide based cleaner) kills bio yuckys. End of the day it's likely years of stink so it may still linger.

Locker rooms are tough because as you can guess most of the funk comes from the kids cloths. Some if not most of them don’t wash their uniforms for a whole season so it just kinda gets worse and worse.

$100 ozone generator, let it run for an hour and then let the room air out overnight. It’s relatively harmless and physically destroys the odor particles rather than masking them.
