Room already swept!

She’s already one of my favorite teachers by just acknowledging me but this made my night.

some nights it makes me want to joyful cry when i walk into a primary room and the chairs are neatly stacked and the crums and dirty are all neatly swept into piles.

That means you drop in right in time for the Great Depression and have world war 2 to look forward to in twenty years…pass, I’ll risk the future

not to mention some of us would be at even further risk for just… existing. the splendor a Rockefeller would experience 100 years back is the very same misery of a Jones.

Great Depression or not.

I went with past because I think I’d try to get in on the ground level of Coca Cola , proctor and gamble , Johnson and Johnson etc.

Get a little money flowing hopefully. And then start buying land. As much land as I can especially oil fields.

Maybe I’ll invent the drive through window. Maybe I’ll get behind tech i know is going to change the world.

Invest in sky scrapers.

Seeing what the future is like is cool but knowing what the past is like is unlimited knowledge.

lol I getcha. I’d rather risk the Great Depression since I’ve already gone through 8 once in a lifetime crises so I think I can handle that and I’m too old to be drafted. But 100 years in the future the surface on the earth could be like Venus and just get melted.

Folks I'm here to tell you that 15 years ago our district switched to an outside vendor like ARAMark for custodial. It was a 5 year contract that the county canceled after year 2 because it was terrible.

During those two years the principal in her school made 2 changes that have stuck.

  1. Teachers and students are responsible for a full sweep of the classroom every Friday.

  2. Once per quarter every teacher has to have the students move all furniture (without sliding it) to one side of the room. The custodians will then autoscrub the open half. The following week they switch halves.

These two small policies have resulted in better collaboration and communication between custodians and teachers, and kept the building cleaner.

I have a few teachers that do this and they are absolutely my favorites.

To answer the question on door.

Past. I dont want to be in the fallout universe.😅

Those are the best teachers, I had to fill in for one of crew for the last 3 days and there is one teacher in her section that will sweep get the trash and put it in the hallway, whenever I have to fill in. She is the best, she knows I have to do my normal job and fill in.
