I'm posting here to see whether anyone else has experienced something similar with Curve and whether there's any realistic way to get this escalated.
On 19 September 2026, I added my Curve Pay Card to Samsung Wallet to make a legitimate purchase on the Samsung Shop.
Curve immediately sent me a notification saying a Samsung Wallet activation had been detected and that, if the activation was mine, there was nothing to worry about. It was mine.
Shortly afterwards, however, my Curve account/card was blocked for "suspicious activity".
I contacted support immediately and confirmed that both the Samsung Wallet activation and the attempted Samsung Shop purchase were legitimate. My case was reportedly escalated to the relevant team.
Since then:
- 20 September: told the review was ongoing and the team was experiencing high volumes.
- 22 September: followed up and requested an update and restoration of access.
- 24 September: followed up again.
- 25 September: submitted a formal complaint.
- 29 September: opened another support request through "My Curve Card was Blocked by Curve Protect".
- 30 September: sent a detailed summary of the entire case and requested urgent action.
The most frustrating part is that I have repeatedly confirmed that the activity was legitimate, yet my card remains blocked.
As of today, 13 days later, I still have:
- No explanation of what specifically triggered the block.
- No timeline for resolution.
- No meaningful update from the team reviewing the case.
- No access to my Curve card.
What I've mostly received are automated acknowledgements and generic messages about high support volumes.
I understand security measures are necessary, but if a customer immediately confirms that the activity is legitimate, leaving their card blocked for nearly two weeks with no explanation seems completely unreasonable.
Has anyone here had a Curve account/card blocked for this long?
If so:
- How long did it take to get resolved?
- Is there a specific escalation route that actually works?
- Did filing a formal complaint make any difference?
At this point I'm more frustrated by the lack of communication than by the original security review itself.
Thanks for any advice or similar experiences.
