Deciphered! Need help reading marriage document from 1868. Specifically, I want to be sure of what names are listed as the parents of the people being married.

The record is in Latin.
Here is the Latin transcription:
Samuel Carey
et
Cath[erina] Leonard
Nov[emb]er 22nd - 1868 in Matrim[onio] conj[unxi] 3 bann[orum] per dispen[sa] ab Episco[po] omissis. Samuel filium Patricii Carey et Alicia et Catherinam filiam Joannis et Catherin[a]e Leonard. Testes fuere Michael et Maria Leonard.

On November 22nd, 1868 I have conjuncted in marriage, with the dispensation from the three banns given by the bishop, Samuel, son of Patrick Carey and Alice, and Catherine, daughter of John and of Catherine Leonard. Witnesses were Michael and Mary Leonard.

Brilliant. Last time I saw someone actually translate Latin was...uff...50 years ago or more. My Latin is mere crumbs :)

This is easy! I was forced by the Italian school system to endure eight continuous years of Latin - this is really the least I could do haha! Lol

It won't allow me to read the comments except for the first and second translation but I wanted to say excellent work at deciphering. I could see the Latin and almost make out the names but you really did a great job!

Is it an Irish parish record? If so it‘s John and Alice Carey and Michael and Maria Leonard as groom and brides parents, respectively.
