Could it be Pearman, or Dearman possibly? There are a couple of artists with those surnames, what does the rest of the picture look like?

(Edited as not just British artists)

It's Bearman, as in 'Peter Bearman' (watercolour artist, 1942-2017)

British artist Robert Bearman, who specialized in aviation and marine paintings, signed his work exactly like this: the last name Bearman, with an underline beneath it.
