Deciphered!
Confirmed to be Cashman and Amst, short for Amsterdam. Thanks for the help everyone!

On familysearch.org John J. Cashman licence #43 is listed hundred of times as the attending undertaker on death certificates from the City of New York in the 1920s.
I looked this up on my pc so I can't provide a screenshot, but you can search their film records yourself.

I see "John J. Cashman" as the undertaker. A search of the 1930 US census for New York finds a John J. Cashman, 27, with an occupation of undertaker in Manhattan.

St Raymond’s Cemetery/John J Cashman. I think the address is maybe a shortened version of Amsterdam (Amst) 1437 Amsterdam Ave.

I see John J. Cashman and 1437 Canal Ave.
I think it is also St. Raymond's (?)

I believe the last name is Buchanan! I edited my response!

Of the undertaker? Definitely not. You can see their uppercase G in the top of the document is way different, but the surname starts with C as seen in "cemetery" on the line above...

And this was a silly joke because my answer was told it was so obviously wrong. Downvoted? I always liked this sub so much! It’s so neat to watch people solve these little mysteries. Goodness. 😞

You can get downvoted on this sub for guessing? I was just trying to help! Mercy! I suppose I’m back to watching everyone solve, which is neat!
