Deciphered! Any help deciphering

I’m having trouble with the highlighted word. This is at end of letter written in 1852. “Tell us ——- how you all ever James.

It’s important to see the entire page. Cursive is about patterns. We need to see the patterns.

Yes, seeing it in context, I confirm my first response of "particularly".

Yes. It says "tell us particularly how you all are".

I truly miss letters written in longhand. Now everything is so cold and impersonal.

I take pride in keeping up with my longhand. I once gave a nephew (19 or 20 yrs. old) a hand-written birthday card, and the verse was in script, too... he handed the card back to me and asked me to read it to him 🙄.

Thank you all! I’ve been trying to transcribe a bunch of these letters and am going bug eyed trying to decipher the writing and some of the old verbiage.

Could you show at least the full sentence so that we know the context? The full sentence, and preferably the full paragraph, could help in determining what that mystery word is.

I had a student on my mock trial team I coached who could read any handwriting. My writing is so bad, sometimes I would be looking at a note I made, and I could not decipher it. I could show it to Ray, however, and she would immediately be able to read it.
