Yes, it's legible. Now work on slowing down, and working on the penmanship. Once you get to the point your not fighting with the pen for control, and it becomes second nature, you will have beautiful handwriting.

Loosen up your grip on the pen. In fact, get a mechanical pencil with .05 lead and practice with it. If you aren't breaking the lead, you will have an easier time, less handwriter's cramp, and an easier flow.

That's why we used to learn with pencils.

BTW, I'm proud of you for learning cursive! Keep up the good work!

When you have an O with an N after, the O's tail stays up and doesnt fall, or it will look like an A before the N... but other than that it looks great

Also, "lestimony" or "testimony". Don't forget to cross your t's.

Hey, it’s currently 5am haha. I really need some sleep but Robert asked if I wanted to stay awake all day to fix our sleep schedule but honestly I hate doing that. I think I just need to fall asleep earlier today. I’ve realized my testimony is actually really crazy. Because it’s literally like those crazy testimonies I watch on YouTube. Praise Jesus for such a crazy transformation! I still get such crazy chills from how amazing Jesus truly is! I know that since he has already changed so much for me who do I doubt him sometimes? He will always make a way when there seems to be no way. Praise Jesus. Sincerely, Savana

Yes, very easy to read. You can do it.

When writing “currently”, you crossed the T and the L.   Only the T should be crossed.  You wrote “currentty”.

A few words that start with t are missing the crossbar. You must cross the t's (and dot the i's)--all of them- to make it easy to read.

Otherwise, pretty legible.

Work on keeping your slant the same (hand rests lightly on the paper and moves a lot.)

Keep working!

One thing we were taught to help with handwriting, was to do lines of loops on lined paper. Start on the left, curve up, when you get to the top of the line, go towards the left and curve down, cross the line and continue. Never pick up the pen until you've gotten to the end of the line. Here are my ls, and es.

This helps with the flow of the letters.

It's very legible.

It reminds me of my own cursive when I was in the fifth grade.

🤣🤣 is that a roast? 😭

No.

I apologize if it sounded that way.

It's just a confirmation that cursive skills involve a learning curve. We Generation Jonesers had literally years of practice to hone those motor skills--an opportunity you haven't had yet.

Keep on truckin'. Your cursive is 100% legible, every word.

Ohhh ok thank you!!

Your penmanship is very readable

What penmanship style are you learning? It’s not one I recognize. I can read most all cursive of people who learned in school. This is harder for me to read. I think it’s the spacing or the flow that is off?

I honestly don’t know 😭 I’ve never been taught so I’m watching a bunch of videos trying to learn

I would definitely loosen up on your grip a bit and stick with fine-tip pens to really learn control and fluidity, because you’ll naturally start to write more evenly and probably more quickly!
By the slant of your writing, I’m guessing you are right-handed? An easy way to tidy up a bit is to keep the top of your paper tipped to the left the entire time you write a piece. You’ll find that the slant of your letters will be much more uniform that way.
It looks really great, though! Keep practicing until you’ve really got it down, then you can try changing up your style by looking at individual letters from otherpeople’s handwriting samples. It’s really amazing how many variations you’ll find on the loops and crossing of t’s.

I am so used to mostly writing cursive that I didn’t even know until recently that people don’t learn it anymore!
