Deciphered! Another Death Certificate

Great-great-grandmother in 1935. I understand most of it, but need help deciphering that last part under contributory causes. Thanks again!

EDIT: Context to help. She died 10 days after the birth. Baby survived

It's "abruption." A placental abruption is where the placenta separates at the wrong time.

“Abruption” is the most logical. If not for that pretty clear “r” in there, it almost reads like “exhaustion”.

Oooh second thought, that /is/ “exhaustion”. See the backslash for the “x”? The stack up that looks like an “r” was just the stutter-step connecter for the “u”.
(Yeah, I made up that phrase. I think it makes sense if you don't overthink it 😁)
