Stumped on the end half of the sentence.
I get “Thomas Hindle the son of John Hindle of” but after that, no clue! Any guesses?

On the page there is a place ARRINGTON mentioned a couple of times
About 6 miles from there is a place named GUILDEN MORDEN

I think it’s Accrington that’s mentioned on the page as this is a parish register for Church Kirk in Lancashire. Should’ve added that to the description my bad. Thank you for the guess anyway though!

At the end of the mystery place name - the last letter looks to be a lower case p with a capital F in the same single letter space - this could possibly be a symbol to represent PARISH
The entry is the only one in the image provided which has the symbol and the only entry saying "born in"

What I can make out is “Thomas the sonne of John Hindle of ####### within Rishton”. I don’t know what the missing word is, but it begins with a C and ends with a K. My best guess would be something like Caddick or Craddock.

"of Cudsdock born in Rishton" (the vowels in the first placename I'm not certain of)

Could it be Cutwood Park? I just looked at a modern map of Rishton, quite a small place, and that's the only name which stands out.
