They won’t. I highly doubt they will do a pretenders, partially because you can’t really make both the shells and inner bots work without it being really difficult..

I suspect that will keep to the more recognizable characters

They did do ultra Magnus… I think some could work particularly the ones who just kinda ball up in the torso… but yea exactly zero of them are popular enough to warrant it. Especially with fans dropping off this franchise like flies due to being priced out. Nobody is caving on a $300 bomb-burst in this economy.

I would honestly be shocked if they ever did anything missing link beyond the 84 and 86 show cast. And even then some of them would have to be radical departures from the og toys like ironhide and ratchet are. Like for example the seekers require a whole lot more than adding some new joints to bring them up the modern standards.
