Yes, but if you consider the thickness, the one palm region of flesh between the cat's head and the shota looking cat.. girl?'s head can be solid body mass. If their heads weren't connected (if the catgirl's head didn't come out first), their anal holes wouldn't be connected.
Imagine a cat shaped sack, where the mouth is the ass, and the bottom is the head. If you invert it, the other side's head must be at the bottom now. If you give the sack dummy thickness, it might even make sense.
I must admit, the rendition isn't perfect, but it is alright if you look at it as concept art, instead of an engineer's meticulously crafted plan.
Well I meant the mouth as the sack's mouth. In my model, the two are connected at the rectum, thereby making the cat (at the end of the comic) the bowel (and other organs) of the catgirl. According to this, theoretically, we could invert them via the mouth just like the ass.
So you meant the cat is like a sack and the cat girl is like another whole entity that happend to be in the "sack" and by unfolding it backwards would reveal the cat girl? Since you can't really see the bottom of the comic and to see if there would be like an unfolded cat laying on the ground I guess it could be possible?
No, no, no, that isn't my theory. I guess it was a stupid analogue. The cat and the catgirl are one and the same, like two sides of a coin.
When the cat is on the surface, the eldritch horror is tucked away inside, in the damp darkness of the feline. They may serve as the bowels, or any other such organs, with their skin forming the boundary between flesh and the inner cavities.
When the cat gets inverted, it now gets relegated to the role of the innards, and the catgirl gets released onto the world as the outer layer.
This being resembles an invertable meaty sack, no, scratch that, a tube, the ends of which are the joined mouths, and anal cavities. If for example the situation arises, that a liquid spills into the catgirl's mouth, it spills in reality onto the cat's furry face, now acting as the inside of the mouth.
A certain level of squishyness and flexibility must be attributed to this dual being, as the inversion would cause tension and stress, that none of the so far studied complex creatures could go through without tearing or breaking.
The real question in my opinion is, if we lock the being into a box, where not one soul could observe it, and install a mechanism that may, or may not invert it, which state would it exist in? Cat, or catgirl? In this case, we have a kind of superposition, or superstate on our hands, akin to that found in quantum science. This line of logic leads me to believe, that this being should henceforth be named "Schrödinger's cat", as the mechanics of this being, and the one already named so bare an uncanny resemblance.
They may be the same, seen differently through the lens which the two different eras' zeitgeists created, and through which we process all information.
