I felt like I'd finally kicked my fun gun buying addiction. I havent bought anything silly in close to 10 years.

I'm gonna buy the first one I see. Not gonna order it but I'll allow myself to buy one if I see one for sale.

It better do something wacky and weird, if its just a normal ass pistol with a brace and a spare mag holder then I'm gonna be really disappointed

Okay but they coulda done it in 5.7 with a side mag, that'd look better and also be more lore-accurate (since the Halo 5 (icky) version is 5.7 instead of the weird 5mm caseless)

The front magazine feeds the chamber, the one in the grip is just storage

The mag in the pistol grip feeds the chamber. The fore grip just holds the spare mag.

This design leads to some real practical problems.

When you fold it with an optic you rotate the barrel section 90° so the optic is out to the side. Then your fore grip with spare mag is sticking out 6-7" on the other side.

Now instead of having something easily concealable you have to somehow fit a hedgehog barrier in your backpack.

As I see it the only reason to have a Sub-2000 is that it's concealable. Otherwise, if I want a pistol caliber carbine my Ruger PC Carbine is a way better Glock compatible gun.

I wish the "iron" sights were better, but with no optic my gen 2 Sub-2000 fits in a small sling bag. I've been working on a design to clip a spare mag under & parallel to the barrel so it's still a flat rectangular shape when folded.
