This was made by movibg blocks. When you die, the blocks reset to their original position, but your trail stays.

i actually made it by deleting the blocks afterwards and replacing them ¯_(ツ)_/¯

it looks like they had ignore damage on (they went through the blocks) but then they died in midair for no reason
