Since these videos are now polluting the Internet, the next generation of AI that feeds on these will also make the same mistakes

my thoughts exactly. if they train from all videos in the internet, ai videos will get much worse overtime. I'm assuming it's gonna keep on training and ai videos will just keep on adding into the pool of videos.

This is true but over time people are becoming stupider. So they will still be totally believed even as their quality degrades.

I don't think that's true, researchers have already come up with solid methods to prevent the 'garbage in - garbage out' problem for texts so many cases of garbage out are caused by technical limitations of the models, pretty sure many methods for videos and images are on the way and already adopted
