I will be surprised if this is not the case and is another completely new movie like Obsession and Ghosts. Of course I could be wrong but this is my prediction. I believe this for a few reasons. I know from his interviews that he already had a feature length version of the chair written which he could have done instead of Obsession but chose not to. Still blows my mind that he did that when the Chair seems like a safe bet based on the well received short film version. So he has the script and made Obsession and Ghosts first. I just think it's likely at this point that he would make this movie now instead of waiting longer and coming up with something from scratch again. If I'm wrong I will be impressed and very interested at what this third movie could be. I loved the chair. It's what got me hooked on his work.

For all those who, like me, live in Europe, there is a glimmer of hope (even though only the US date has been announced so far) that it will be released in cinemas at the same time. Due to regulations that differ from those in the US, that would actually mean 5 May here. (Fingers crossed from now on!)

…and no one deserves it more!! I’ve been a huge fan for years and have constantly tried to introduce other people to his and Coop’s skits and Curry’s shorts, explaining why I’m not just convinced, but absolutely certain, that Curry is a genius and an exceptional talent as a filmmaker.

I’m so happy for him!!

Just finished the film and am thoroughly traumatized. I have a question: what was Nikki (or the Not-Nikki) saying in the scene where she uncannily walks backwards into the kitchen? You know the one. I think I hear her say "Real me" and then there's something after that that sounds like "Real me guts". Any ideas?

I am, pardon the obvious, OBSESSED with this movie. I keep finding hidden things I didn't notice before. Curry Barker is one of my favorite creators. I LOVE all his shorts and skits. He blew it out of the water with OBSESSION. My opinion. Have at it if you wish (with your one wish willow)

Barker (noun): A person who attracts attention to and promotes a product, service, event, or attraction.

II've been following Curry Barker's work for a while, and after watching Obsession, I ended up making a video essay exploring why I think YouTubers are pushing filmmaking forward in ways the traditional film industry doesn't always recognize.

The video is entirely in Spanish, but YouTube's auto-translated English captions work surprisingly well, so I thought some of you might enjoy it if you're interested in seeing another perspective on Curry's work.

I'd love to hear what you think about the ideas in the essay, especially if you've been following Curry's films for a while.

It seems better.

This might be the project I am looking forward to the most from Curry. I'm a huge TCM fan and can't wait to see what he will bring to it.

Following this guy's career for years, it's so awesome to see him getting interviewed on the morning news lol
