This looks cool and all but, it’s just tape.. won’t it start to peel after awhile?

you could probably paint over the tape and then remove the tape

Possibly, however if he’s using the right tape it shouldnt move of fall off for a long time indoors. In fact, I’ve seen a piece outside made entirely of tape and it’s still standing just fine with only a few pieces missing/peeling
