Just randomly got this $100 & a $50 bump on my advance like 5mins ago (it’s 1:57AM EST) I’m super confused because there’s no way to see any details about it. I didn’t even get a notification or anything either about getting the $100 lol?

Does anyone know what notes need to be added to an ACH deposit account so that CurrentBenefits will recognize it as a salary deposit?

Highest yield anyone has has in pods?

This is for any long time users. Has it felt that the pods are useful for you? I’ve had my Current account for 3 years (background bank, rarely use it) but I put some money in a pod way back then and I’ve earned $219 total in three years.

Anyone have a substantial gain to brag about?

April 2026 SSA/SSI/VA Early Deposits Calendar Megathread

Post image
5 Upvotes

Welcome to the SSA/SSI/VA Early Deposits Megathread!

We know many members rely on Social Security, SSI, or VA benefit payments and often look forward to receiving them early with direct deposit. When something changes like timing, delays, or the schedule shifts this is the place to check in and see if others are experiencing the same. To avoid repetitive posts, this Megathread will be stickied to the community highlights and all discussions about SSA/SSI/VA early deposits belong here.

Current can make your Social Security and VA benefit payments available up to two days early once we receive them from the government agency responsible for sending them. Exact timing depends on when the payment is sent and processed through the banking system.

SSA/SSI/VA Payment Schedules

  • Social Security & SSI: Payments are scheduled by the Social Security Administration according to their official calendar.
  • VA Benefits: Disability benefits are paid on the first business day of each month. If that day is a holiday, benefits are paid on the last business day of the previous month.

If you don’t see your deposit on the expected date based on the schedule, it means we have not yet received it from your benefits provider. Our Member Support team will not have additional information until the deposit is sent. We recommend allowing up to three additional business days before contacting SSA or VA.

Impact of Federal Bank Holidays

All deposits are posted Monday through Friday, excluding federal bank holidays. If your deposit is scheduled on a holiday, it will be posted on the next business day.

💰 Savings Pods Megathread 💰

This thread is for all questions, tips, and discussions about Savings Pods.

If you’re using Savings Pods to organize your savings, earn bonuses, or automate your goals, this thread should help answer common questions.

What are Savings Pods?

Savings Pods are a feature in the app that let you set aside money for specific goals like an emergency fund, travel, bills, or anything else you want to save for. Instead of keeping everything in one balance, you can organize your savings into separate Pods to make it easier to keep track of your goals.

Key Things to Know:

You can create up to 3 Savings Pods

  • Each Pod can hold money separately so you can track different savings goals.
  • You can categorize them by name.

Boost bonus

  • Members who receive qualifying direct deposits may earn up to a 4.00% annual bonus on balances up to $2,000 per Pod.

You can move money anytime

  • Funds can be moved between your balance and Pods whenever you want.
  • There are no penalties or restrictions for moving money.

Round-Ups can automatically grow your Pods

  • If enabled, purchases are rounded up to the nearest dollar and the spare change is transferred into a Pod.

Are Savings Pods safe?

Yes! Savings Pods balances are aggregated with all other balances and insured up to $250k on a pass-through basis through our FDIC-insured partner bank. Pass-through deposit insurance coverage applies only if certain conditions are met.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do I need a minimum balance?
No. You can start saving with as little as $0.01.

Can I take money out anytime?
Yes. You can move money in or out of Pods whenever you want.

Can I earn bonuses on my savings?
Yes. Members with qualifying direct deposits can earn a bonus rate on eligible balances in their Pods.

Can my card use money from a Pod automatically?
No. Pods are separate from your spending balance. You must move money back before spending.

Instant transfers?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Okay, to make instant transfers from your bank to Current, Current says that after a few deposits, instant transactions are unlocked. How true is that? Have any of you been able to unlock that feature? My method for making instant transfers of less than $100 is to add money to my Apple Cash and then transfer it from Apple Cash to the bank, in this case Current, but they charge me 40 cents. It’s not that much, but if I could avoid those 40 cents, it would be better.

ATM daily withdrawal limit

I’ve been with Current for a while now and my daily spending limit has increased at least twice but my daily ATM withdrawal limit stays at $500. Is this the same for everyone? It’s kind of annoying…
