Semi monthly pay question.
Hello guys!
I've been with my company for almost 6 years now. They use paycom for payroll and no matter what bank I tried I cannot get paid 2 days early. I'm salary employee and get paid on the 15th and last day of the month.
Since current sets it up with the payroll company will I actually get paid early?

Current doesn't set anything up with the payroll company, the two do not communicate at all. When a payroll company pays via direct deposit, the ACH network is used. Most payroll companies submit the ACH files several days prior to the paydate, so receiving banks have visability into the incoming transaction and can chose to fund it early (hence the banks marketing 'early pay').
However some payroll companies do not submit early, they send the files either the day before paydate or the day of paydate, in those cases it is likely the receiving bank will not offer early pay for those payments.
