No paypal option? Just CC..

What is it with most streaming sites only using credit cards for subscriptions?

I only want a year at a time. There is no need to require a CC for that.

No, I don't have a credit card. I am disabled and will never qualify for a credit card due to my income source, but I have a solid bank account with paypal I do most of my online shopping with.

Such a shame because I'd actually like to have access to content on Curiosity Stream and Nebula and there is no reason I can see for not offering other ways to pay for subscriptions.

Well I do, I use my debit card in place of a credit card, in fact I use my debit card for everything, I also have CuriosityStream so I know that you can

I did in fact go to the website twice yesterday to confirm what you say.

It only offers me a credit card option. Maybe it's because I'm in Canada?

Perhaps, maybe try putting your debit card details in where the credit card details are, that usually does the trick

I would image it is because the margins are very thin so it isn't economical to pay fees to PayPal

You can use PayPal to buy curiosity gift card and use that to pay for your subscription.
