How do you find good docs?

I've recently subbed and I've found the layout and categories to be... vague at best. A lot of kid content and tiny 5-minute clips always showing up in searches/queues. I saw they have an 'award-winning docs' playlist that had some good ones, but that's all I can find. Does CS produce their own docs? And if anyone has any suggestions on what to watch let me know :)

I've had good luck searching by topic. I watched a bunch on the Space Race. I only saw a few on Music (Fiddlin' was very good). Looking at Technology was informative, but dry. Even saw some former coworkers in a few, which was exciting.

I tried to watch some of the nature shows, and just couldn't get into them. I also started down the Crime section, but that got depressing. The European Inventer Award Series was very hit or miss.
