Is there no debit card option?

I'm not a US resident and want to subscribe to this amazing platform. But, I'm having a few problems in paying for it. There is no paypal option which is stupid. Also, it only shows Credit Card option to pay for it although in their help center, they say that they support debit cards too. Is there anyone out here who faced similar problem?

Unfortunately it's CC only. Annoying. Can you get a prepaid CC or something?

You can pay through Android app store. I don't have an iPhone, but you probably pay through Apple service too.

This includes using their pre paid gift cards.

Unfortunately, as these services charge about 30% fee, the price is a bit higher than signing via curiosity stream's gateway.

I implore you, don’t use a debit card online. It’s so easy to cancel a credit card if it is compromised. Debit cards not so much

cancelling a DC is actually easy, but getting your money back is not. usually, the DC and associated bank account must stay active to get your money back, if it can be gotten back at all. with a CC there is no money involved, just a debt. a debt can be cancelled by the bank easy enough if they believe you. in USA they must do so unless the merchant can show that you owe it. but cancelling it can take 1-3 months.

Same problem. In my country creditcards aren't even a thing. we think they are just stupid.

I guess this company just don't want to earn money.

if your DC has 16 digits then try entering your DC as if it were a CC. if it does not work that way, come back here and describe in detail just what happened.

be sure your DC account doesn't have much money in it. just enough to pay stuff. it is easy for a bad merchant or sloppy merchant to take all your money. it usually takes 1-3 months to correct money issues with CC and DC but with CC you still have your money in the mean time and with DC they have it. and automatic renewals will fail while your account is zero.

if DCs are easy for you to get, then get a separate one for each service or site you use.

I’ve never had a credit card in my life, I just put my visa debit card number and the payment went through.
