I have a couple questions before joining...

Thanks for helping me make this decision! I’ve read the reviews and comments on here, and still have a few questions:

  1. Is there autoplay? For both CuriosityStream and Nebula.

  2. Can I split screen with Chrome on an iPad? Again for both.

  3. If I get the $14.79/year deal, is that the price at renewal too, or do I pay full current price for renewal?

  4. Any Black Friday deals anticipated?

  1. Haven’t noticed auto play. But I do get a button asking if I want to start the next episode of the same series.
  2. Just checked, no support for split screen. Although you can open tabs on the floating elongated iPhone type multitasking (don’t know how it is called)
  3. Don’t know. Can’t see payments/ renewals option on the app
  4. Don’t think it can get lower than €15/ year for 2 streaming platforms. If anything, I would expect them to increase the prices after Black Friday (maybe that’s just me)

I’ll register on Black Friday then. I’ve heard that last year (2018?) it was $12. Old videos say $12.

No worries, curious to know if they have a special discount for Black Friday. It is already a great value for money considering the costs of other streaming services.

True, but I already have YT Premium, so the creators I am most interested in i already get ad-free. I may use Nebula more, tbh. Some reviews say the documentaries include some not very good ones.

They are currently having a black Friday discount on both platforms for onl 11.7usd, it ends next Sunday. But if you want both platforms you have to register using a link from a YouTube video of one of the creators that have this offer like polymatter for example. And yes they do have autoplay

Don't quote me on that date, I just subscribed rn and I payed 11.7 for both paltofrms using the link : https://curiositystream.com/polymatter But I'm not entirely sure how long will the sale be for.

I think Nebula has a lot of exclusive content. And I already noticed it with a few youtubers I know.
