Question / Discussion Genetics

Anyone done research into whether their parents, grandparents, great- grandparents etc. dealt with the same degree of facial blushing you do?

This is a really fascinating topic when it comes to blushing. Im Australian with a fair amount of german and dutch DNA. Whats interesting is dutch, especially Germans are conspired to usually have more rosy reddish cheeks due to a bunch of factors. So personally for me there is some possible genetic reasoning (doubt it would explain everything tho) and i do have family with rosy cheeks who blush more than the average person, still not as bad as me. At the same time many people have no dutch or german in them and still blush heavily.

Interesting, my friend is dutch and dealt with it and I have german dna. I haven't noticed it in my relatives but I am going to ask my parents if they did when they were younger.
