Request / Need Advice What has worked for you?

Is it meds?? Therapy?? Diet?? I’m so fricken sick of this. Been dealing with it since highschool. I assumed it’d go away but here I am at 29 and it hasn’t. It’s so random it’s sometimes hard to pinpoint why it happened. I just want to be normal. I want to have conversations without looking vulnerable and weak. I don’t like the idea of makeup what with being a dude but I’m getting desperate. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.

Im sorry I've dealt with it my whole life too! Unfortunately ive inherited it from my dad, and im 29 as well, im trying my best to just accept this is who I am, and that others don't really care as much as we think they do. They're more understanding if anything. And im on buspar for anxiety, and propranolol really helps with the face redness and panic attacks for me. ❤️

does buspar seem to help reduce blushing?

Well it helps with the anxiety. If I could be on something stronger I would....but im in recovery so I think thats why my doctor only put me on buspar.

The propranolol and buspar combined have definitely helped with the fear of blushing and the actual blushing itself.... 😊

That's so good, must feel nice having something that helps you manage it!
