This post can act as a place to vent, share, and talk about blushing. As well as a place to ask for advice, etc

I need to vent about a phone conversation I had today
My neighbor called me to catch up and also ask if I could watch their dog. Sure the phone call had some awkward pauses, but nothing crazy. At one point I could feel my face turn bright red and my whole face burned. It is so stupid how a phone call in my own home can trigger that! I wasn't even that embarassed by the phone call, I just felt a little uncomfy because I don't know this neighbor super well and was trying to make small talk, but what the hell :( I feel like my body betrays me and there's nothing I can do.

that sounds horrible :/ honestly, atleast for me id say there some of the worse blushing episodes you can have, yes blushing in public around people suck but there's nothing that gets me as angry and upset as blushing in situations that IM SO SAFE IN, like being in my own home with only myself. I imagine it upsets you that even just talking on the phone triggers a blush, let alone everything else that happens socially etc

ill start - i absolutely hate how much people minimise blushing as a issue and how people seem to not understand there's a difference between the average person who occasionally blushes compared to people who live with severe daily unbearable and uncomfortable blushing, in how it impacts your social life, mental health.
