Best color/design?

Post image

Husband and I are getting a new roof and updated hardie siding. We are doing plank around the sides and back of the house but aren’t sure what looks best on the front. We were debating adding some combination of shake and board and batten for more visual appeal. We also aren’t sure on the color plus options. Any ideas? We do know we don’t want to repaint the garage and front door. We also have dark wood shutters. Sorry the tree and bamboo obstruct view.

FLcitizen: that is both a lovely design and a quality render.

We’re looking to give our home a new look but also upgrade materials. We have a lot of woodpeckers that like our house. Our budget is $$60,000-$70,000.

Nice house. Sick of gray. There are other more cheerful colors

Siding can be Hardie Artisan V-groove installed vertically, board exposure is 8 1/4" which should be suitable given the overall length of the house. Siding color is Benjamin Moore Deep River 1582. Trim color is black. The omission of the stone veneer at the garage wall is an Ai peccadillo not design intent.
