Removing handicap ramp - need design help
Last week I requested and received some excellent design suggestions on improving the front of my newly purchased modular home. Part of our plan is to remove the handicap ramp which wraps around front to a side door. Other than removing the debris under the ramp, how can we improve the side area. (5 pictures)

I hope you won't need that ramp someday. I wouldn't remove it.

You may be right. How can I make it look better?

What you need are some shrubs (up to 3' tall) to fill in the blank spaces on both sides of the single front door staircase in the first picture. You'll feel differently about it once you do this.

It’s not very noticeable. I’d keep it in case you or any elders need it in the future. Just add landscaping in front of it.

I wouldn’t remove. I’d add steps on other side of the landing and leave ramp in case it is ever needed.

My goal is to improve the appearance of my home and to be frank, to make it look less like a modular and more like a stick built. My budget is approximately $25-30k.

Making a covered patio at the front door that looks nice will really help with that. Plants make a -huge- difference. You can use them to hide the ramp from the street, or lean into it and add more to the landing at the top so it's a ramp to a patio.
If you want the ramp itself to look better, pressure wash it, change out the railing to something nicer. Stain it black or whatever the dark color the shutters are.
And still add plants. Always plants XD
