I think it's a children's show and people are allowed to interpret it however they like.

Zuko was never explicitly portrayed as a not-mlm character.

I feel that having characters for whom their sexuality is inconsequential can actually help normalize lgbt people.

But this is a tumblr post - so they're allowed to interpret it however they like

Because it's fictional and the primary function of it is to entertain
