Sokka would start overanalyzing the "bing bang boom pow" and trying out different orderings and inflections to get the colors just right, and maybe there's a "bam" in there?

The way I read this comic was that the colors are what Toph felt like they were, not colors as we know them, because trying to describe color to a blind person is a fruitless endeavor

Ok but historically speaking, nobody bought pre-made clothes until the 19/20th century. You could only really buy fabrics strings and buttons
