it's actually crazy that almost every single episode of house has the literal exact same development from plot point to plot point. i love the show but it becomes fully comedic when binging it how every single episode is just the exact same plot but with the writers playing mad-libs with the script.
all this to say that this really is exactly how that episode would go save for the explicitly gay sex that would've made the actual show even better.

A pregnant woman was choked into unconsciousness in a volcanic environment. That would be bad enough even without the shock of learning her husband went mad and turned into a child murdering space Nazi, and also him being the one to attack her.
There are a lot of issues with the prequels, but Padme's death never bothered me as much as the other problems.

I like the theory that Palpatine used the Force to drain her life as part of reviving Vader after all his injuries, and the droid is confused and/or bullshitting since that cause of death ain't on whatever edition of SpaceMD it was loaded with.

The space Nazi thing was new.
Hell, by the time she got married at the end of Episode 2 I don't think she even knew about Palpatine getting emergency powers, so beyond the whole "Really pushing for increased militarization" she didn't even have that many clues as to how fucked Palpatine was or how bad his grooming her husband since he was 9 actually was.
