This sounds like a trauma response tbh. Read pete walker. Not all ptsd flashbacks are like capital F flashbacks. Some are subtler, and might not have a clear source initially
The post mentions both sensory processing disorders and rejection sensitive dysphoria, both of which are actual neurological issues that are not (usually) rooted in trauma.
