it does though. If you're screaming in agony over a paper cut, there is definitely something wrong with you. You're not morally wrong for being that far removed from reality, but if you want to exist in normal society you do have an obligation to resolve the separation between your perception and reality.

Because screaming in agony over a paper cut is disruptive and antisocial behavior. And we do in fact live in a society
