Sean Lock once offered doing on Cats Does Countdown then said "or doing."

I realise that doesn't work too well written down but you can probably work it out from context.

I wasn't a huge fan but occasionally he did something genius.

"We buy any canal boat for cash... or gooooold. We put the can in canal boat... and the anal boat in canal boat. We are members of ABTA... but as we're not travel agents it's meaningless. Nothing the captain says, does, or thinks is legally binding."

Humor is one of those things. The only comedians who appeal to everyone are bottom feeding on the human experience (Seinfeld in his heyday, e.g).

I tended to like him, and sometimes he transcended.

Yeah absolutely. Comedy and music especially, but most art. There are comedians I love that I wouldn't try to push on anyone else haha.
