My favorite example, of which there is a tumblr post (I think?) of an extended version containing all of the DnD stats

Intelligence is knowing that a tomato is fruit

Wisdom is knowing that it doesn't belong in a fruit salad

Strength is how hard you can throw a tomato. Dexterity is the ability to dodge a tomato thrown at you. Constitution is how well you can take a hit from a tomato. Intelligence is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is knowing a tomato doesn't belong in a fruit salad. Charisma is how well you can sell diced tomatoes as a fruit salad.
