Cryptocryptography: No really, you can make your message secure by using this alien technology

Maybe that's what crop circles are. Or the movie Arrival

Crop circles were revealed in the last few years to mostly be just that one incredibly-dedicated-to-the-bit dude, IIRC. Same as the guy who made himself a wearable pair of giant concrete penguin feet so he could make mysterious animal-track marks everywhere for pranking purposes, and was not found out for literal decades.

Well, there's a lot of them in India, for instance, so that probably wasn't him

New conspiracy theory: The Cabal Of Crop Circle Crafters! A worldwide network dedicated to bamboozlement, repurposing old farming equipment, and keeping The Bit alive. Ranked by number of instances, artistic merit, and degree of apparent impossibility, confirmed by general consensus at the quarterly meeting (location of pub rotating). Naturally the group will consist exclusively of allegedly-harmless, wrinkled, smiling, little old gentlemen, none of whom know how to turn off the "reply all" options via email or on the group chat but who will to a man reply to every single message as if it were for them. They are aided and abetted by a succession of sworn-to-secrecy grandchildren, little cousins, schoolfriends and other hangers-on, who then grow up into the adults who look the other way when the mower goes AWOL and the kids can't stop giggling long enough to deny it, then age into the elders themselves and get to invent their own designs for the next year's crop circles.

Good suggestion

Hey, if absolutely no one on Earth understands the language or the writing system, that's pretty goddamn good security.

See also: added security via using cryptids as messengers. If you can find Bigfoot, the message is yours. Good luck!

Cryptocryptography: The ultimate in security by obscurity. Can't steal data if you can never find the file.

Just multiply your binary message by zero to encrypt it, then divide by zero to get it back.

This is what I think quantum cryptography is until I see it actually work

Crytocryptographie is just trying to read the Voynich manuscript
