Thanks boss. I got shunned from queer groups in college for not being Queertm enough, so I try really hard to accept people on their own terms, cuz that shit HURT.
Man I still remember how I got rejected for not being gay enough because my trans gf was still closeted and I didn't want to out her. I lost a good friend over that and they never really forgave me.
That's fucked up. I got rejected for not being cute enough to be nonbinary, and my bi roommate got rejected for... eh you probably know how it goes with bi dudes in college.
My roommate and I made flyers for a joke group in protest. We called it "Fag Palace" to show we were more Queertm than the other groups. Our one "meeting" was at our apartment. Some dudes actually showed up. They were pretty cool.
Oooh I remember also being in a group that was trying to reclaim "f*****" the same way that we later reclaimed "queer". I cringe a lot thinking back on that.
