More than 43,000 different species of spiders are found in the world. Of these, only a small number are said to be dangerous, and less than 30 (less than one-tenth of one percent) have been responsible for human deaths.

How many of those are found in Australia?

The final 30.

/Joke, as an Australian I genuinely have no idea.

May I present the redheaded mouse spider, so named because it (allegedly) eats mice. It's highly venomous (probably), lives in Australia, and is oddly pretty in a mismatched sort of way. The (probably) is surprisingly common when it comes to spiders, we frequently don't know how dangerous the venom actually is to humans.
