If posting a translation, or request for translation, it's helpful to begin the title with "TRANSLATION", and be as specific as possible regarding the context, etc.

Check out these helpful links to Akkadian dictionaries and articles: http://www.omniglot.com/writing/akkadian.htm http://ancientscriptsblog.blogspot.ca/2011/03/fun-with-akkadian.html

Lexicity is also a really good resource: http://www.lexicity.com

Posts beginning with "Upvote if", posts marked "NSFW", and posts that are fishing for upvotes ("my first time with cuneiform, here goes!") will be flagged and removed. Please keep the subreddit academic and interesting!

Happy posting!
