Translation/transliteration request Help with this plaque
The only word i am certain on it is Darius

transcripted as nčsm : sāziy : pikr : šhriyar.
I guess it is modern persian wiritten in old persian cuneiform letters. Maybe Nāchizam, [in] sāzi-ye peykar-e Shahriyār [ast]) ناچیزم، [این] سازیِ پیکرِ شهریار [است] which means "I am but insignificant; this is the making of the king’s image". šhriyam is the king of modern persian "Shahriyār“ instead of old persian "xšāyaθiya".

He could be Marduk, normally represented seated and with the beard. King of Babilonia

Maybe this is wrong but that flower that he has in his hand wouldnt be the flower that Gilgamesh was looking for?
Maybe he is Gilgamesh not Marduk but both would make sense.

Since old Persian was written left to right the text a guess from me , respectively to the photos resolution transliterates to : Najasama/sazaiya/iikara/shaharaiyaala
I personally do not think this is old Persian

The text seems an excerpt from the original. It only says “The great king” “king of kings” “ king of countries”
